HANGOUT: Aku Cafe & Gallery

not mine though... how I wish~

went to Petaling Street about a week ago to collect tripod from Wilson (yeah, that’s the main purpose) and had lunch at this cafe that he wanted me to go because 1. after noir now we’re obsessed with all thing errthing Old Shanghai (omg the wooden door), 2. he just did a shot there recently and 3. he want me to see Tsai Ming-liang’s movie posters in the washroom (seriously). there’s lots of books about Malaysia and secondhand CDs for sales and also magazines and other books to read (I told Wilson that if this is Alibaba’s shop I would already take some of them back home, but alas). the food is cheap and the staff there is very friendly.

HANGOUT: Upstairs Cafe

"I got my camera so let's go to a fancy place."

cozy café with a quirky playlist in SS12. speaking of café, I think owners should remember that the interior adds value, it’s not the value. in the end, good food still wins. just look at roadside stalls.
